BrightPath Transcribe Privacy Policy

BrightPath Transcribe is provided by BrightPath Ventures Group.

Transcribe records and processes speech on your devices. iPhone speech recognition and received Watch audio use on-device recognition when supported. Transcription can fail if the selected language or device does not support it. Transcribe does not send recordings or transcripts to a BrightPath cloud AI service.

Saved transcripts and the Watch trial-use ledger are stored in protected local application files. Watch recordings transfer to the paired iPhone through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. Temporary Watch audio is retained for retry until processing succeeds; successful processing removes the temporary audio. iPhone recording produces text without retaining a raw audio recording.

You can deliberately share or export text using the app's sharing controls. A reviewed Home summary is a separate handoff: Home asks you to review its destination and content before saving. Once you share data with another app or recipient, that destination's data handling applies.

Purchases are handled by Apple. Transcribe checks verified StoreKit transactions to determine Pro access and restore purchases; BrightPath does not receive your card information through the app. Pro is a one-time unlock, not a subscription.

Microphone and speech-recognition permissions are requested when needed. You can manage them in Settings. Obtain permission from everyone being recorded. Saved transcripts can be deleted in Watch & Saved. Deleting a local transcript does not recall copies you previously exported or shared.
