Information Stored on Your Device

JobSeekerAI stores your profile preferences, resumes, saved jobs, and application records on your device. Local matching, tailoring, and supported on-device AI features process information on your device.

Device backups and file-provider synchronization may be subject to your device settings and those providers’ privacy practices.

Importing, Exporting, and Sharing

The app reads documents you choose to import. When you export or share information, you select its destination through your device’s sharing controls. The receiving service’s privacy practices apply to those copies.

Optional cloud AI

JobSeekerAI Pro offers optional cloud wording suggestions. Before each request,

the app explains the sharing and asks for your permission. If you agree, your

selected resume text and job requirements are sent through our Cloudflare-hosted

service to OpenAI. You may decline and continue using local tools. Remove

contact details or other information you do not want to send.

We request that OpenAI not save generated responses for later API retrieval.

This is not a promise of zero data retention. OpenAI and hosting providers

process requests under their applicable security and retention practices.

Our OpenAI account has input/output sharing for model improvement disabled.

Our gateway does not write resume text or generated suggestions to its

persistent application database. Suggestions appear for your review and do

not automatically replace your saved resume. Changing the source text or

closing the editor clears temporary suggestions.

U.S. Job Search — Adzuna

When you choose Search U.S. jobs, JobSeekerAI sends your search words and preferred search location through our Cloudflare service to Adzuna. Your resume is not included in this request.

Adzuna returns job advertisement snippets and links. Listings you save are stored on your device. Our service maintains aggregate usage counters and uses network information to limit requests.

Adzuna and Cloudflare process these requests under their own privacy policies. Adzuna listings are credited in the app. Opening an original listing takes you to Adzuna’s website, where its privacy policy applies. Search coverage and availability vary.

selected employer job feeds

JobSeekerAI may offer job listings from selected employers through Greenhouse

and Lever. When you choose an employer and search, our Cloudflare service

fetches that employer’s public job postings. Search keywords and location

filters are processed by our service and are not included in these provider

requests. Your resume is not sent to Greenhouse or Lever by this feature.

Pro job searches require an eligible subscription. The app sends signed

purchase information to our service for verification with Apple. Our service

uses network information and usage counters to verify access, limit abuse,

and enforce service allowances. Saved job descriptions and requirements are

stored on your device. When you open an original job posting or apply, you

visit the employer’s or job platform’s website, where its own privacy policy

applies. Employer coverage and the number of postings shown are limited.Purchases and usage limits

Apple processes subscriptions and provides signed transaction information.

Our service checks that information and current subscription status with Apple

before granting cloud access. Purchase proof is not included in the resume

prompt sent to OpenAI.

Paid Pro includes up to 50 cloud requests per subscription billing month,

subject to service availability. Failed attempts may count toward the allowance.

Apple displays the price and terms before purchase. You can manage or cancel

your subscription through your Apple account settings.

Designated TestFlight and App Review builds use Apple Sandbox test purchases.

These do not grant Production subscriptions. Sandbox cloud testing shares five

cumulative attempts across all testers; failures may count and renewals do not

reset the limit.

Our service stores a hashed subscription identifier, verified billing-period

dates, and usage and spending counters to enforce these limits. Expired paid

counter records are removed during later usage-reservation operations, without

a guaranteed automatic deletion schedule. Aggregate spending counters and

Sandbox allowance records are retained to enforce service limits.

Optional Federal Job Searches

Federal job search is currently disabled. If enabled, searches will send your search terms, selected location, and page through our Cloudflare-hosted service to USAJOBS. Resume content is not included in these searches.

Service Providers

Apple, Cloudflare, OpenAI, USAJOBS, and services you choose when importing or sharing files process information needed to provide their services.

Infrastructure providers may process network information, including IP addresses, for delivery, security, and abuse prevention. Their retention policies apply.

Your Choices and Deletion

You can decline cloud-sharing requests and delete saved records using the app’s controls.

Deleting an app record does not delete exported copies, device backups, or information already shared with another provider. Those copies must be managed separately.
