BrightPath Receptionist Privacy
Updated October 28, 2026
BrightPath Receptionist is operated by BrightPath Ventures Group. This notice explains the Receptionist account and business-mailbox connection. General public service is still in preparation; a connection test or this page does not activate customer service or authorize a message.
Account and agency records
Sign in with Apple provides a verified account identifier. Receptionist uses identity-linked records, protected sessions and an agency identifier to authenticate the owner and separate agency records. Enrolled approval devices retain their private approval keys on the device; the server stores public keys and approval-verification records.
Your Google business mailbox
You choose whether to connect a Google business mailbox you control. Receptionist requests account identity and Gmail send-only permission. The verified Google account must match the mailbox displayed in the connection review. This connection does not request permission to read your Gmail inbox or delete Gmail messages.
The private service receives the authorization result, verifies the mailbox and stores access/refresh credentials in encrypted, agency-bound storage. These credentials support the disclosed connection and, when the service is separately enabled, owner-approved email sending. Credentials are not shown in status screens or support logs, copied to the public gateway, supplied to AI prompts, or made available to other agencies.
Messages, approvals and provider results
Receptionist processes the recipient and message material a user supplies, along with exact-message approval records, provider attempt references and delivery/status information. Connecting a mailbox, generating a draft, or saving a contact does not approve sending. Each business message requires the owner's approval of its exact recipient and contents. An uncertain provider outcome is held for inspection rather than automatically resent. Provider acceptance does not by itself prove recipient delivery.
Service providers and permitted use
Google processes mailbox authorization and email delivery under its own policies. Apple provides account authentication and system purchase services where used. Render hosts the private service and databases. Access is limited to the service functions and security/operation needs described here. Google connection credentials and data are not used for advertising or AI model training. Separate AI drafting, where available, uses material explicitly provided for that action; the mailbox connection does not supply inbox content to an AI service.
BrightPath's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
During ordinary active-account use, message bodies, approval/delivery history and call reports have a 365-day history limit. Billing metadata has a separate ordinary 365-day retention policy after subscription end. The verified account-deletion process below overrides ordinary history retention for associated personal data. Account deletion stops access and requests prompt erasure of associated live personal data through the verified deletion process. Minimal private deletion/recovery markers may remain through the existing three-day backup-recovery window. Any restore must reapply confirmed deletions before access reopens. Copies independently held by recipients or providers remain subject to their own policies.
Your controls
Use Receptionist's mailbox-disconnect control or Google's Account connections page to remove this connection. Successful disconnection is reported after Google accepts revocation; an uncertain result is reported as unconfirmed. Disconnection does not recall previously sent mail or erase recipient copies. Account deletion is a separate action. Contact support to ask about your data or an unavailable account control.
SMS and availability
Public customer texting is not available. Client text permission is separate from email or call permission, and a private pilot registration does not enroll another business in texting. This page does not open public access or start a subscription.
