BrightPath Receptionist Service Terms
Updated October 28, 2026
Current availability
BrightPath Receptionist is in controlled private testing. General public customer service is not yet available. These pages describe the product and its connection controls; visiting a page or completing a test connection does not activate a public subscription, phone number, texting campaign or sending service.
Authorized business use
Use only a business account and mailbox you control or are authorized to operate. Keep account credentials private and protect your enrolled approval device. You remain responsible for the accuracy of supplied records and drafted messages, the intended recipient, and the permissions needed to contact that recipient. Do not use the service for deception, unsolicited mass messaging, unlawful content or attempts to bypass recipient opt-outs.
Approval before sending
Every outgoing business call, email or text requires the authorized owner's approval. Email/text approval binds the exact message and recipient to the enrolled device's approval. Saving a contact, generating a draft, connecting a mailbox or paying for a plan does not approve a send. Provider and carrier opt-out/help confirmations may be handled by the provider as separately disclosed. Never infer text permission from a saved phone number, email permission or call permission.
Review generated drafts
AI-assisted drafts, when available, require human review. Confirm names, facts, wording and intended use before approving. Do not treat generated content as professional financial, legal or medical advice. The service is not an emergency-response system.
Limits and provider outcomes
Only the channels and allowances explicitly enabled for an account may be used. Public customer texting remains unavailable. No automatic paid overage is enabled by this page. Any future purchase must present its supported features, price, billing period and allowances before confirmation. A provider may delay, reject or filter a communication. An acceptance response is not a delivery guarantee; uncertain attempts are held rather than automatically repeated.
Mailbox disconnection and account deletion
A mailbox connection can be disconnected through the app's confirmed control or Google Account connections. Disconnection does not recall sent mail. Account deletion is separate and uses the verified account-deletion workflow described in the Receptionist privacy notice. Deleting a Receptionist account does not itself cancel an Apple subscription; purchases and subscription management remain subject to Apple's controls and applicable purchase terms.
