Hermes Link Terms

Hermes Link is an independent companion provided by BrightPath Ventures. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nous Research.

Your desktop and providers

You supply a compatible Hermes installation, reachable HTTPS gateway, credentials, model access and network connection. You are responsible for permissions on your desktop and charges from your chosen providers. Availability depends on your desktop, network, Hermes runtime and third-party services. No model subscription, token allowance or hosting is included.

Review agent actions

AI output can contain errors. Review messages, generated files and proposed commands before relying on them. Only approve actions you understand and are authorized to perform. Do not use the companion to gain unauthorized access to systems or data. Stopping an app or disconnecting does not cancel work already running on Windows.

Trial and unlock

The planned public app is free to download. A separate free 14-day trial enables desktop controls. A separate US $9.99 one-time purchase unlocks those controls after the trial; Apple shows the applicable local price before confirmation. There is no automatic paid conversion or subscription. Model-provider and networking charges remain separate. Reading, setup and the sample demo remain accessible after trial expiry.

Apple processes purchases, refunds and restoration under the terms applicable to your storefront. These product terms do not reduce statutory consumer rights.

Saved content and availability

Offline history is a bounded convenience copy of recently opened text, not a complete backup or guaranteed current record. Keep important files and conversations on your desktop or in a backup you control. Closed-app push notifications are not active in the current private build; network reconnection occurs when the app becomes active.
